THE ANNUAL ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE IS BACK!!

The West End Electric Light Parade takes place on West Beech Street beginning at Ohio Avenue on the second Saturday in December each year.  

ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE 2023

The City of Long Beach and the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce present the 10th Annual Electric Light Parade on Saturday, December 9, 2023. So bundle up, bring your holiday spirit, and join us at this beautiful Long Beach tradition. The parade travels through the West End of Long Beach on West Beech Street, beginning at Ohio Avenue. Antique cars, fire trucks, floats, and bicycles will be wrapped in colorful lights for this delightful holiday event. Awards will be given to the most festive. In addition, West End businesses/restaurants will offer Electric Light Parade specials and kids' activities before and after the parade. Parking will be available via West Broadway at the Long Beach Catholic Regional School schoolyard, with shuttle buses to the West End. 

Floats line up at the Sands parking lot at 5:00 pm and step off at 6:00 pm. 

The official parade start is 6:00 pm on West Beech Street at Ohio Avenue. 

All entrants must be decked out in lights.
